They are birds - but they can't fly.

Do they have wings?

No, they have flippers for swimming under water.

Are there penguin families?

Penguins live together in groups of families. All the adult penguins help look after the all baby penguins.

Penguin Project

Aim: To collect,organise, analyse & present information.

Materials:

- information to write out in your own words.
- photos and/or your own drawing.

They also need a way of presenting information. This could be:
  • a scrapbook
  • a folder
  • a powerpoint presentation
Where do they find the information?

A lot of the information is on the website. But they should also try to find other materials from books, magazines or other sites.
